Im pretty pleased with myself as-well, i was thinking of getting an external HD because the mac has a smaller HD than my old laptop. But then my inner geek came out in full force and made me think about “networking”, so i googled it, to see how easy it would be to setup. Turns out its easy, so i enabled my old old old big desktop to sharing (because its got 2 80gb HD’s…but it’s useless because its soo slow and is riddled with problems, but the HD’s are huge and i use it to cap from videos) next i did some other random crap and then next thing i know my mac has found it and can go to it like its a normal folder…no wires or anything! Well, you cant add any kind of password on it, but turns out if you go to the command prompt bit, type in some stuff you can password protect it!

So now, i can store all the crap i dont use much there and save a ton of space on my mac!wehey! My inner geek needs to go rest for the rest of the year now!!lol

Im almost done!soo close to being actually fully moved, all i need to do now is to hunt down a few programs and im done!woohoo!
Going to attempt a few updates later, not sure how it will go now that i no longer have pictureshark and i can’t find a mac version, though hopefully i’ll find an equivalent.
And it’s official, i drink to much!haha!so im staying in this weekend!..well thats the plan..

Well, i was thinking; Why use a laptop thats falling to pieces (it seriously is…it’s missing countless buttons and only has one working usb) when i have a perfectly good, well amazing mac. I’ve always used the mac for just random messing around, but im going to use it now for the sites and everything. It works perfectly fine, and its much dinkier (is that a word). Only thing i dont like about it is that it has photoshop cs 3 (i think it is) and im not a big fan of it, i dont know why, because it’s literally the same, but i love, love, LOVE 7.0!i’ve used it for ages, and i just like it…
So lets see how it goes, i need to “move” loads of stuffs to here, so that might take me a while. But i reckon it’s a pretty good idea, don’t ya think?
